The Celeb of the Day over at our Celebrity at Work website is Amy Crehore a painter of truly equisite works of art.
Amy Crehore grew up in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and received a B.F.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University. She now lives on the west coast in Eugene, Oregon where she paints some of the most exquisite paintings you’ll find anywhere. Her website and her blog, Little Hokum Rag, both have many examples of her work.

The Charmer.
I asked her :
Editor Life is short. How are you filling this small space with your work?

You can also read about Amy Crehore over on our Art NYC site where she is interviewed by Marshall Sponder.

Just watched ITN News screen a dynamic 3-D map of Lebanon and Israel on their main bulletin badged “Google Earth”. Brilliant stuff, and what an improvement on their usual drawn diagrams.
I have to confess, I was never keen on this particular mash-up, although I’ve got it on my main computer.
Clearly, I’ll have to explore it some more.

Picture, Joan Street.
If you’re a fan of John Nettles in the hit TV series Midsomer Murders, or in his previous incarnation as Detective Bergerac, you’ll enjoy Steve Newman’s reminiscences of working with him on stage at Stratford.
Just pop over to Our Man in Stratford.

The Royal Yacht Britannia.
Over at Royal Anecdotes, we’ve got a campaign going to bring back the Royal Yacht Britannia. The old ship has been sorely missed, not just by the Queen, but as a symbol of Britain around the world.
If you would like to support this campaign, or just read about it, get along over there now.
